I am lucky enough to have been lent a rhodes piano by a friend of mine, with the stipulation that I need to give it back someday.

It is without a doubt the most enjoyable instrument I’ve ever played; in many ways it has changed the way I think about harmony. Electric pianos sound fundamentally different from acoustic pianos in a way that has helped me think differently about chord voicings and rhythm. I’ve also learned a lot about the piano’s action, tone generation, and voicing by doing maintenance & repairs.

All of this has had me spending more time learning to record/produce my own music. As of right now I am not very good at it, though I’m learning :-)
